TV and radio ads, PSA’s, bombarding me from all sides… “Let’s do this. The vaccine is safe. Get the vaccine so we can all get back to normal.”
First, that begs the question of what “normal” is and if we can ever get back there? What is normal about being forced to receive a vaccine you don’t want, possibly for a virus you’ve already conquered, or have a medical condition that makes receiving it unwise?
So, let’s all admit we are way past getting back to “normal” and moving onto something new, or as many have said, “Welcome to the new normal.” And it ain’t gonna be pretty.
I’m not going to waste your time going over who the virus is actually killing and how miniscule the chances, of the young and/or heathy, are of dying from it, but I will pose this question: “If we can all be forced to stay in our houses, forced to stop visiting family and friends, including those that are dying and whom we might never get the chance to visit again, forced to stop having marriage and funeral services and going to church altogether, forced to stop going to work and school, forced to close our businesses that then drives us into bankruptcy, and, then after all that, forced to take an experimental medication, the long-range events of which are unknown, what else do you think will be demanded of us in the future and how will we resist when we’ve given up our right to liberty so easily?
You’ve seen the ads for recent medications developed to rid of us of all types of maladies and improve of our quality of life, possibly while suffering through a terminal disease. The list of possible side effects for some seem endless and sometimes appear to be worse than the actual disease, including death itself from the cure. If the number of those affected in such a way was not so small, the meds would never make it to market. And look, when a few thousand people developed Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and twenty-five people died, from the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine, the vaccine was pulled from the market. The cure was determined to be worse than the disease.
So again, “Let’s do this. The vaccine is safe. Get the vaccine so we can all get back to normal.”
The COVID vaccine has not finished the required final phase of human trials, and thus is not yet FDA approved. It is being administered under an EUA – Emergency Use Authorization. One of the requirements of an EUA, is that there be no alternative treatments available. That explains the need to discredit those in the medical field claiming they have treated the virus with hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and steroids. The two treatment regiments are mutually exclusive. An Emergency Use Authorization is not issued when there are alternative treatments. The medication under trial is required to continue its testing regimen until it has been proven safe as long as there are other treatments available. Once proven safe, the new medication enters the realm of a safe treatment with the other treatments out there.
Finally, who says the vaccine is safe, and for whom exactly might it be considered unsafe? There’s information out there about those being harmed by the vaccine but no one wants you to hear about it. Of course, if you, or a loved one, are injured by the vaccine, or die, it becomes very important to you and then you might start to wonder why you were never told of the risks. Where are the laundry lists of possible side effects, or death, from the COVID vaccines that accompany every other medication we see advertised on TV?
Wait, when some movie star, whom I already despise and think is ignorant, is propped up on the TV telling me to take one for the team and get the vaccine… WTH is that? What do such idiots know about medicine, viruses, and vaccines?
I have read that at some places – businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, government facilities, etc. – where the vaccine is being mandated, one can register a medical exemption but it is also plainly stated that there is no guarantee the exception will excuse you from the vaccine.
But, let’s get this done.
